CS Music - FREE classes, competitions, and musical theatre opportunities!

We hope you enjoyed the virtual awards show tonight.  We are so pleased to have been able to honor the incredible work!  Thank you for giving your students these opportunities. It’s been quite a year.

As you heard in the live-stream, our generous sponsor CS Music is extending the following offer to every single student that participated in the UHSMTA this year.  They asked that I pass along these details to the teachers, to disseminate to your casts/crews.

Thank you for participating in the Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards!

As a gift for participating this year, we are offering a $40 discount into the CS Vocal Competition with automatic advance to the Second Round. The online voice competition is one of the premier recruiting events in the country. You’ll have the opportunity to be viewed by schools across the nation and will be eligible for the cash prizes and scholarship awards. Last year there were more than $5.8 million in scholarships given to participants. Details about the Competition are found at www.csmusic.info/vocalcompetition.

To sign up for the competition, email Mary Taylor at mary@csmusic.net.

You can also attend the CS Music Online Convention for FREE as part of your prize award. The Online Convention is highlighted with classes by Juilliard, Eastman, San Francisco Conservatory, and 60 other schools; Broadway stars Alex Finke and Sharon Wheatley from “Come From Away”; Opera stars Nathan Gunn, Frederica von Stade, and Denyce Graves; and other industry professionals.

Register for any class you want with the coupon code UTMTAWARDS. Use that code as many times as you want for as many classes as you want.

The schedule and registration links are online at www.csmusic.info/conventionclasses.

Teachers! Please be aware that you are welcome to pass along this coupon code to ANY of your students! We are excited to share the wealth of knowledge that the convention brings to as many Utah high schoolers as we can. Don't hesitate to contact Mary Taylor with any questions you might have.

Congrats to all those involved with the musical, "Once Upon a Mattress!" It's a show that will always hold a tender place in my heart!
