Mean Girls Ticketing Update and Costume Reminder

 Hey Team!

Tickets for the Gala are live!  Good news, the address on the flyers were synced so they DO take you to Gala tickets.  We only sell 150 seats for Gala and we have already sold 62, so get on the train fast if you wanna come enjoy.

Tickets for ALL shows will be available starting on the morning (not sure on time) of November 1st.  Please consider buying ahead so you can reserve the seats you want to have - you also save $1 if you buy in advance. You can order tickets by scanning the QR code below or going to the Alta Homepage.

Two last things -

1) CAST don't forget to bring PRINTED grades on Monday with you and ALL COSTUME PIECES (including underclothing, tights, etc) on Monday for our costume parade!  We will shoot to get started right after school.

2) We have gotten the rights to sell a recording of our show!  Thus, in about two weeks you will be able to sign up and buy a copy of "Mean Girls" the musical by Alta Theatre for only $25! I am beyond stoked... more detail to come in a few weeks.

Now is the time to start getting really good sleep and drinking lots of water - we have a packed 3 weeks ahead of us full of long evenings and fun memories to make!

"Mean Girls" Ticket Info and Reminders

 Hey Team!

First, THANK YOU to all the parents who have been helping behind the scenes with dinners, concessions, picking up materials, taken headshots, break-a-legs, tickets, etc.  Your efforts are not unseen and greatly appreciated.  Also THANK YOU to the cast and crew starting out - you guys are making this show work and you're working hard - I see that and I appreciate you. Know that I am so excited with all of the choices you're making on stage and the kindness you are showing one another - I really love working with you and am excited about tech week.

A huge reminder of two things happening tomorrow.  First, tomorrow is our next day of the WEAR PINK contest and help advertise!  Please consider dressing up and posting/entering the contest to help start spread the word about our show opening in THREE WEEKS!  The information is below - remember IF you have a private account, you must screenshot the entry and DM our Alta Theatre Instagram page!

Second, tickets for our Opening Night Gala are going on sale tomorrow!  We are excited to host a little hors d'oeuvres and character interaction soiree the opening night of our show at 6pm.  Those who attend will receive some amazing finger foods at this year's "Club Rush" hour, interaction with the characters themselves, entertainment and some prime photo booth opportunities. Also, those who purchase before next Wednesday when ALL tickets go live will be able to choose their opening night seats first before the general public.  Think about coming out and supporting the students with a special Gala ticket!

HEADS UP: For those who got a Gala flyer, the address for tickets is not correct.  I greatly apologize, but at the last minute we needed to switch our ticketing vendor to ensure we could have reserved seating.  Thus, the NEW link will be posted on here and the Instagram Page tomorrow evening.  Thank you for the kindness and understanding!

Wear pink tomorrow, start spreading the word and get ready to buy tickets!!!

Here's the poster to post up to advertise as well.  A huge thank you to Hallie Mastersen for creating such a great poster for us this year. :)

CAST REMINDER - grade checks are due on Monday.
This means on SUNDAY you need to print your grades at home OR MONDAY IN THE LIBRARY before rehearsal you need to print your grades and bring them with you.  PLEASE make this a time I don't need to search anyone out... it could earn you some candy if EVERYONE brings there's on Monday.... meaning, it will.  It will earn you candy. Get your grades where they need to be this week - I'm rooting for you!

Lastly, TO ALL - if ANYONE has a connection to a jazzy (the scooters for people at grocery marts), we are looking for one for the show... One thought is if anyone knows SOMEONE at a grocery store who would let us borrow one for a few days and we'd give them a shoutout in the program.... I know that's a weird request, but it's needed so PLEASE if you have any connections, I would greatly appreciate it!

2) If you have ANY donations - clothing, accessories, props - we need them ASAP!  I have some parents coming tomorrow to help sort through whatever we get so we can begin costuming and filling in the gaps. Please bring donations TOMORROW!  Anything that time period helps!

3) If you are on this list below, our costume team would like to see you after school ON OCTOBER 10TH for a little mini-fitting at 2:45-3:45pm in the Green Room of the PAC; they might not need you the whole time, but please stop by for what you can: Abby Carpenter, Leah Memmott, Emma Sweat, Hallee Wasden, Kason Seamans, Ethan Regan, Niv Raz, Jakob Payne, Kennadee Hewlett, Aubree Hewlett, Madelynn Chatwin, Xylia Stennet Luke, Christian Holyfield, Izzy Walbeck, and Connor Lyon.  If this is NOT possible, send me an email. Remember, EVERYONE ELSE will me checking off with Tamara the next day during rehearsal.  You need all of your pieces too with you on Wednesday OR a picture of you wearing them - not just the pieces.  A picture of you wearing them.

4) This is the week to start having really clean dances and songs, so prepare to be tested as needed - you know what practice you need so be solid on your parts! Dance and songs checks are bound to happen!

5) The #pinkwednesdayalta contest begins this week!  Please spread the word around and repost when it is put up on Instagram.  We want to start really getting people aware of the show and gearing up for the incredible run.  Wear Pink on Wednesdays and you should enter too!!!

6) Lastly, I will be reaching out to people this week to be our "Stupid with Love" dancers for next week - if you are not free on the 17th, please do not accept the role. :) I want to highlight people as much as we can, but also need you there on those rehearsal days.
