Hi everyone!
This is (probably) the last set of reminders and info going out about Shakespeare since by this time next week we will be home from Competition! Please read through fully and carefully and let me know if you have any questions :)
Link for tickets is HERE. They are $6 online or at the door with card; if you pay cash at the door it's $5. Night of Shakespeare has a 6 pm start on Wednesday, with your call being at 4:30!!! Tell your family and friends and post so that you have an audience to see all your hard work!!!
Monday Schedule
2:30 - EVERYONE called!!! (Be outside our normal back side door of the PAC at EXACTLY 2:27 for a treat!). Late arrivals earn burpees...with tuck jumps
3:10 - Fight call (including Wizard robe and lift)
3:20 - Vocal warm-up
3:25 - Run full night of Shakespeare show (this will start with IEs and their intros; review IE intros HERE and all actors should be in full costume, hair, and make-up. For ensemble scene - please add "dirt" makeup except for Player characters.)
After this run concludes, we will probably work ensemble scene and run that at least twice more before dismissing everyone for the evening. Depending on time we may be able to have a silly run or some games.
Tuesday Schedule
2:30 - EVERYONE called!!! (Normal back door on the side of the building again...exactly 2:27 again for a treat!)
3:10 - Fight call (including Wizard)
3: 20 - Vocal warm-ups
3:25 - Group pictures (yearbook here today) then run through full show (IEs with intro and then ens. scene TWICE); we have techs with us today :)
After the 2nd run, we will go back over anything needed for actors or techs.
Packing Notes
As you're getting things together for packing, here are several things to make sure you bring:
1. Any medicine that you take regularly or may need (prescriptions or over the counter medicine like ibuprofen)
2. ANY AND ALL THINGS (costume pieces, make-up, base layer, SHOES, etc) that you need for your IE and/or Ensemble scene
3. Comfortable shoes
4. Sunscreen
5. Phone (and any other) chargers
6. Glasses/contacts, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, other cosmetics
7. Wallet with cash/cards, your ID, and copy of your insurance card if you have one
8. A bag (book bag/tote/crossbody) that you can take with you EVERYWHERE as you're moving around competition.
9. A water bottle
10. Nice clothes to wear when we see A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder; think interview or church clothes - no tshirts or workout clothes; if you wear jeans make sure you pair them with a nice/dressier top. Enjoy the opportunity to dress up!
Make sure that you have what you need, but remember that we do have limited space under the bus - you shouldn't need to pack more than one small suitcase or medium duffel bag and then a back pack.
Lastly, you can review our trip itinerary HERE!
Thanks again for all of your hard work - I'm VERY proud of you and excited to see you tomorrow!
