News Reporter, Chuck McDean, is sent to a town too small to be seen on a map; the mysterious and unknown Jubilation, Mississippi. Tasked to discover the secret of the local's constant state of blissfulness, he realizes there is something hidden behind their sinister and forced smiles and 50’s-fashioned clothing. As McDean’s interviews raise more questions than answers, he begins to realize that the secret to their happiness might not be the only mystery this town has to offer. . .

Director: Cassie Caldiero

SHOW: The Real Problem

In this comedic one act, five of Shakespeare’s female character come together and talk about their boy issues, all in a modern style. While out on the town, these characters all begin to argue about whether or not you need love/a man to be happy (spoiler alert: you don’t).

Directors: Ruby Gardner and Kenna Stevens

SHOW: The Big Picture

A desk in kindergarten can be a battlefield when the crayons come to life in The Big Picture by Mark Harvey Levine. This comedy takes place in a kindergarten classroom. A young artist, Debbie, is drawing a beautiful picture. We get the perspective from all the crayons on art, what it’s like being a crayon, and the importance of individuality and uniqueness. A hilarious and upbeat show!

Director: Nora Wetzel

SHOW: Corybungus

It's just another peaceful day at the local bookstore, until one well-read customer tries to return his defective dictionary. This customer will go to great lengths to prove that the word it is missing is completely reasonable and necessary, much to the annoyance of an employee of the store. And what is this missing word? Corybungus- an archaic word for bum.

Directors: Kassie Holt and Willa Grimmer

SHOW: A Late Summer

In this drama, two couples – one older, one younger – find that they have more in common than first meets the eye. These parallel stories weave together to explore what it means to grow up and grow apart, but never leave love behind entirely.

Director: Addi Scarborough

When they hear about the spoon, they want to destroy the spoon even though it benefits the people to make more money. Then, to make matters worse, Mayor Trouble, the mayor of Tax-Eavasia, hears about the spoon and makes an appearance and is also motivated by greed. Hans ends up turning them all down knowing that his new invention is made for everyone and will make the world better. He goes to better the world himself with the invention of the spoon.
